Dr. Julie Kang

Dr. Julie Kang was raised in Baker City, Oregon. She joined the United States Army after graduating from high school. Dr. Kang received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 when she graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduation, Dr. Kang returned to North Carolina where she worked at two hospitals one mixed animal and the other small animal only. For the last year, Dr. Kang and her husband lived in El Paso, Texas, while her husband completed a year-long military training program. Dr. Kang is very excited to be spending the foreseeable future in Tucson.

Dr. Kang and her husband, James, have a daughter and a son. They also have a French Bulldog they rescued, whose name is Matilda. Dr. Kang enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family, and once the kids are a little bigger, getting back into mountain biking, climbing, and horseback riding.
