Jessica is a proud native Tucsonan. She attended the University of Arizona for a Bachelor’s of Science in Veterinary Science and Microbiology. She also attended the University of Texas A& M for a Master’s of Public Health with a focus on epidemiology. While deciding if veterinary school was the next step to her career, she got her first job as a veterinary assistant and immediately fell in love with patient nursing. She then became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1999 with a specialized focus for anesthesia and pain management. Jessica is also a proud alumni of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority whose philanthropy is minority mentorship.
When Jessica is not at work, she spends her time with her husband Cisco and daughters Alanah and Delilah. They love to hike, swim, dance and travel. They share a house with a menagerie of furry pets. They have Roxie an old lady Chihuahua, Cicie a sassy Havanese, Maize a rescued Lhasa Apso mix, Joonie a spicy domestic shorthair and the newest member Bentley a Shih Tzu.
Jessica’s greatest passion is being a patient advocate embracing a quality of life for one furry friend at a time.
